Notre Dame Prep will come into this race as the slight favorite. They placed 8th last week in the Bull Run Elite race and ended up 9th in the Merge Results. North Harford won the Medium Division and placed 10th overall in the Merge results, so it should be a close battle between them. 

Look for Bryn Mawr to be near the top of the team standings as well. They battled Notre Dame tough at the Barnhart Invitational earlier this year and are led by Fiona Santos, one of the top individuals in the race. 

Glenelg may be the sleeper in this race. They are a very young team that has run well early in the season, They have not raced at an invite for a few weeks so they may be able to surprise a few.

Girls Red and White Individual Preview

Alyssa Mates looks to be the big favorite coming into this race. She is coming off an individual win at Bull Run in the Medium Division race and broke 20 minutes on that challenging course. Her season PR is 30 seconds faster than the field so it will be hard to imagine anyone staying with her after the first mile. 

Battling for the next top sports will be Maddie Wassin from John Carroll, Fiona Santos from Bryn Mawr, Olivia Sobkowicz from Notre Dame, Alex O'Connell from Spalding, and Caroline McCaffrey from Mt. Hebron. McCaffery's teammate, Gauri Nair ran well earlier in the season but could not compete last week due to an injury. 

While ranked 10 on the list below, look for Ellie Bassham from C Milton Wright to battle for a top-3 finish. She has placed high at all her meets so far this year but just hasn't run on a super fast course like many other teams.
