James Partlow is making a strong case for the best Maryland Cross Country runner ever as he just set a new Maryland State 5k record with a time of 14:47 and earned a spot in the National Championship with his 4th place finish at the Southeast Regional Meet!
Partlow has not lost to a Maryland athlete all season. He won the MileState Invite, Carlisle Invite, Frederick County Championships, 4A West Regional, and the 4A State Championships.
The National Championship will take place in Portland Oregon on December 2nd. MileSplit Maryland will be cheering him on!
