Emma blasted onto the scene in the last month and has shown she is one of the top runners in the state. She was only 1 second behind Rogers at NXR with her 17:46 performance.

Blodnikar finished the year very strong placing second in the state merge with a time of 18:31, and was the 3rd MD finisher at NXR, breaking 18 minutes with a time of 17:54.

Gregory posted the top time of all 4 classifications at States with her 18:30 performance. She did not compete at NXR.

Carter dominated the 3A State Championships winning by almost 30 seconds. She also ran strong at NXR with a time of 18:28, MD's 5th finisher.

Snider was a huge reason why Hereford tool home the 2A team title. Her 18:55 run on her home course was the 5th best of the day. She did not compete at NXR.

Sivitz ran 19:01 at states, which was 6th best in the merge and ran a nice PR of 18:25 at NXR, which was the 4th best time from a Maryland athlete.

Stine placed 7th in the States merge results and was the 12th MD finisher at NXR with a time of 18:45

Colson was a surprise winner in the 2A Championship and her time of 18:51 was the 4th fastest of the day. She ran 19:33 at NXR.

Mackenzie had a huge race and PR at NXR running 18:39, which was the 10th fasted MD runner of the day.

Creighton ran 18:31 at NXR, a huge PR and the 6th best time from a Maryland athlete.

Hillier recorded the 8th fastest time at states with her 19:21 performance, helping secure a close team victory.

Greenwald ran 18:34 at NXR, the 8th best Maryland performance.

Morey struggled a little bit in her last two meets, placing 31st overall at states with a time of 19:59, and running 18:35 for 9th best at NXR. With that said Morey is only a freshman and had one of the best freshman seasons in recent memory.

Avila saved her best race for last as she ran 18:33 at NXR, which was the 7th best Maryland performance.

Editor's Comments

The final Rankings list does look at the whole season, however gives more weight for championship season meets, especially States, Private League conference meets, and post-season national meets.

For the girls, the last few spots were very difficult to decide. Girls who were close but just left off include:
