Girls 4x200 - The Montgomery Invite starts the meet off with the 4x200's and the first heat is the fastest! In the girls fast section all 6 schools are seeded at 1:45 or faster with the top seed of Wheaton, who will most likely be anchored by sophomore standout Iyanni Dailey, as the top seed at 1:42.00. Challenging them in that heat will be C.H. Flowers, Long Reach, Dunbar (DC), Oakland Mills, and Largo. Look for the winners of the second heat to challenge for top 3 overall finishes as well with the slowest time in that heat of 1:47.92.

Boys 4x200 - Just like the girls the boys 4x200 will be the first event of the meet. In the fast section, the top two seeded teams are Mervo and Montgomery Blair who are seeded at a blistering 1:29.00. Largo, Wilde Lake, Oakland Mills, and Duval are all seeded at 1:32.00 or faster and will make for an extremely competitive race to get things started !

Girls 500 - There are 9 girls seeded at 1:20.00 or faster for the girls 500. Top seed is Kendall Hall from Long Reach at 1:17, but she will have stiff competition from Kenlee Hayes (Northwest), Nwaamaka Agwu (Springbrook), Carolyn Hultman (Walter Johnson), Aaliyah Jalloh (Thomas Wootton), and Kieran Murray (Georgetown Visitation) who are all seeded at 1:19.44 or faster. Jaayah Jenkins (James Hubert Blake) and Janaya Goins (Dunbar DC) are also seeded under 1:20 and will be looking to make some noise from heat 2.

Boys 300 - 13 boys are seeded at 36.0 or faster. Donte Long from Friendly leads the field with a time of 35.2 but only 8-tenths of a second separate him from #13 seed Tarique Wright of Springbrook. With this level of competition, there could be several athletes breaking the 35-second barrier.

Girls 300 - Just like the boys the girls 300 is loaded. Anna Creel from Wheaton is the top seed at 40.0. Tressia Davis from Friendly, is seeded at 40.2. Both girls will look to push each other to break the 40-second barrier. There are 11 girls under 43.50.

Girls 3200 - The current MD#1 is 11:06 from Elena Blodnikar. That time is in real jeopardy. Katie Greenwald (Walt Whitman), and Lauren Virmani (River Hill) are both seeded under 11 minutes. Ani Bailin (BCC) is seeded at 11:08 and all three could run under the top Maryland time. While not a Maryland runner, Abigail Anstett (Georgetown Visitation) has a seed time of 10:56 and will certainly be in the mix and make for an exciting race.

Boys 3200 - With most top XC runners attending the NXR meet at the end of November, this is the time of the year where we start to see most Distance runners racing. The boys 3200 is loaded with lots of great talent. There are 12 boys seeded under 10 mins. Alejandrio Berrio (Seneca Valley) , Kieran Mischke (Towson), Henry Hopper (Wilde Lake), Mateo Gros-Slovinsky (Walt Whitman), Nathaniel Swanson (Winston Churchill) are all seeded under 9:44. The top state 3200 time of 9:33 by Howard's Joey Ensor may be in jeopardy.

Boys Shot - The boys Shot should offer great competition as there are 12 boys who are seeded over 42-00 feet. Nehemiah Covington from Franklin leads the field with a seed of 50-11.50 followed by Taejon Anderson of Frederick at 47-08.50.

Girls High Jump - With 11 girls over 5-0 feet, the girls High Jump should be extremely competitive. Sierra Swangin from James Hubert Blake leads the field at 5-06 followed by Casey Gish from Broadneck at 5-05, and Kylee Kreafle from Winston Churchill at 5-04.

Boys Triple Jump - 8 boys are seeded at 42-00 feet or further and it will most likely take a jump of that distance to score. Jakwon Kilby from Dover is the top seed at 45-03 followed by Bryce Young from Richard Montgomery with a jump of 44-07.75 and Callum Boye of Frederick at 44-06.25. We could potentially see three jumpers over 45 feet!
