On the boys side, Chad Brown of the home team dominated the short sprints, winning the 100m in 11.18 and the 200m in 22.70. Lamar Harris of North Hagerstown won the 400m in 50.60 and took the bronze in the 200 in 23.24. As on the girls side, the distance races were won by three different boys, with Josh Keyfauver of Clear Spring winning the boys 800 in 2:03.5, Jared Welsh of FSK winning the 1600 in 4:39.18, and Hemu Arumugam of North Hagerstown winning the 3200 in 9:55.1. Derek Martin of the home team won both of the hurdle events, taking the 110m gold in 15.26 and the 300m gold in a meet record 39.27. Russell Hoyt of Brunswick was the only male to jump further than 20 feet, winning in 20-00.75. He also placed 2nd in the Triple jump with a jump of 41-05.00, losing to Jamal Campbell of Smithsburg, who jumped 42-06.25. Ben Horner of Brunswick threw a meet record 158\' 08\'\', winning the Discus Throw. The Smithsburg men won their home invite with 142 points, 41.5 points ahead of 2nd place Brunswick.
The Peninusula Relays in Hampton, VA featured one team from Maryland: The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders. The girls highlights were a 9:13 AND a 9:14 4x8, Elan Hilaire\'s 11.94 100m D and 24.51 200m D, Jennifer Redman\'s 5:24 1600m, Tameka Jameson\'s 55.71 400m, Tasha Stanley\'s 2:19.04 800m, Teshika Rivers 11:46 3200m, and their 3:50 4x4. The boys highlights include an 8:16 4x8, Terrell McCombs 10.73 winning 100m dash, Donald Lockhart\'s 4:38 1600m, their winning 42.92 4x1, Jason Powell\'s 22.21 200m, Mikias Gelagle\'s 9:53 3200m, and their 3:26 4x4.
