When: Saturday, December 17, 2011. All events begin at 9 a.m.
Where: Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex, 8001 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD, 20785.
Who: 30 invited teams. If interested in participating, please email Mike Kiernan or Scott Raczko. Only invited teams will be allowed to participate. The meet will be limited to Virginia, Maryland and DC Teams.
Entries: 1 relay per team in each event, 2 individuals per team in each event. Additional entries may be requested and accepted based on field sizes and performances of athletes. Entries due: Wednesday, December 14 at 9:00 PM. All entries must be completed on the milesplit network, www.milestat.com. Instructions are below. MAKE SURE TO GET YOURSELF REGISTERED AND APPLY TO BE AN ADMINISTRATOR FOR YOUR TEAM ON YOUR RESPECTIVE MILESPLIT SITE (VA., MD., ETC) ASAP. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER YOUR TEAM OTHERWISE.
Entry Fee: $300 per school for two genders. $150 for single gender teams. Please make checks payable to NVCCTFA. Please send entry check to Mike Kiernan, 3948 Bradwater Street, Fairfax, VA 22031.
Scratches: We will attempt to accommodate substitutions on the day of the meet. Please scratch athletes not competing as soon as possible upon arrival to the meet.
Field events: Opening heights: BHJ: 56; GHJ: 46; BPV: 90; GPV: 70. Flight order will be low seed to high seed and the top seven athletes with the top performances from the preliminaries in the LJ, TJ, and SP will advance to finals.
Track events: Section order will be fastest seeded sections first.
Awards: The top three athletes in each event will be given awards.
Results: Results and pictures will be posted at milestat.com.
Concessions: A variety of hot and cold concessions will be sold throughout the meet.
Admission: $5; free for children 12 & under.

Entering Via Milesplit Nework
You can go to milesplit network by typing in www.milestat.com. If you are from somewhere other than Virginia, look to the top left of the page, and there is a pull down menu that will take you to your states web page. Then simply follow the directions below. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REGISTER AND REQUEST TO BE AN ADMIN FOR YOUR TEAM AS SOON AS POSSILBE. THE PROCESS TAKES A DAY OR SO, SO PLEASE REGISTER AND ASK TO BE A TEAM ADMIN IMMEDIATELY.
1. Login or Register - You must have a user name and password for Milesplit. To get that, if you don't have one, click register in the top right gray MileSplt bar directly under the Universal Sports logo and search box.
2. Claim Your Team - If you haven't already set this up, you must be registered as a coach or team administrator to register for a meet In order to get set up, you go to your team page, and at the top right, click Claim This Team. Choose either that you want to be a coach or team admin. Follow the instructions on that page. Apply and submit. Once you do that and are approved (usually within a few hours), you will receive a confirmation email and you'll be set to go to the next step.
3. Update Your Roster - If your team's roster is not already up to date, now is a good time to get any corrections made and add any additional athletes to it. Go to your team page, login, and you will see button that says "Team Administration" to the right of your team's name. Click that and then click roster on left hand toolbar. Enter or update your roster, adding any new athletes. To move graduated athletes to Alumni, simply add their graduation year and hit save.
4. Enter the Meet - Go to the season calendar and click on the green meet registration button of the meet you want to enter. Read and follow the instructions carefully and fill out the form completely. Once entered you'll see all of the available events/races listed out. To put your athletes into these events/races click the "Edit Entries" link by the event. On the following page, check the athletes you want in the race (putting in seed times if applicable), and click the save button at the bottom. Do this for each event/race. You will be able to change and update these entries until the entry deadline.
