Gunpowder Falls XC Invitational Information Flyer
Date: Saturday, October 12th 2019
Time: 9:00 a.m.-Course Walk
Place: Gunpowder Falls State Park- Jerusalem Mill Area

(NOTE: Please note the address to insure you arrive at the appropriate area of the park, Gunpowder State Park is one of the largest state parks in MD with a variety of areas)
Race Levels:
Each school may enter one varsity boys team (10 runners) and one fresh-soph Boys team and one varsity girls team (10 runners) and one fresh-soph girls team. The fresh-soph races should be filled with all athletes on a team who currently in the 9th and 10th grade.
Each school many enter as many runners as they want in the Open B races however these races will not be scored.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee is $150.00 per gender if only entering one gender
The entry fee is $275.00 if entering all races Boys and Girls
Teams entering incomplete teams will be charged $25.00 per athlete entered
The entry fee should be received by October 2nd 2017 in order to participate in the invitational Make your check payable to Dulaney High School, and send check with the form below to:

Team/Athlete Entry:
Coaches should enter all athletes they plan to have compete that day in their respective races via www.athletic.net.
However, if you must make a race day change the race director does not need to be notified as long as an athlete is entered into any of the races, the athlete can switched into any race.
If you have an additional athletes to add to your race day roster bring a printed list of these athletes to the coaches' meeting.
Entries are due on Sunday October 6th by 11:59 pm.
TENTATIVE ORDER OF RACES AND APPROXIMATE TIMES:
10:00 a.m. Fresh-Soph Girls Race 3.1 mile scoring race
10:40 a.m.Fresh-Soph Boys Race 3.1 mile scoring race
11:10 a.m. Varsity Girls Race 3.1 mile scoring race
11:45 a.m.Varsity Boys Race3.1 milescoring race
12:15 a.m. Boys Open B Race 3.1 milenon-scoring
12:35 p.m Girls Open B Race 3.1 milenon-scoring
(May merge Girls Open with Fresh-Soph race dependent on number entries)
1:15 p.m. Awards Ceremony
Awards
1. Plaque to winning team and runner-up at the varsity level
2. Medals to individuals finishing 1-10
3. Ribbons to individuals finishing 11-25
4. JV Races Medals to the top 10 in and ribbons through the top 25.
5. Open Races ribbons to top 20
