A new cross country season is upon us, so what better time then to add a new meet to the season rotation. This meet will feature under the lights action for the Elite sections! Maryland's first night time XC race. Come experience something new and different than what the state traditionally offers on the grass. We hope to pull the best and fastest teams in the area. This meet will be sanctioned NFHS for MD private/public, and the surrounding states. This meet will be run by the Maryland Running Company. Scott Baker the Head Coach at Calvert Hall will serve as the meet director.
Competition:
This will be a high school cross countrymeet and will be broken into Elite and Red Divisions. Both divisions will have JV and Varsity for both genders. The goal is to shoot for 40 teams and have the top 20 teams run in the Elite sections.
Course:
The 5k course will be a two lap course and will run around the parameter of the park mostly, with a small portion bisecting the park in the middle.
Registration:

Entry Fees:
Both gender schools $400, Single gender schools $300. $40 per entry for schools entering 4 or less.

Parking:
One of the smaller issues of this venue is parking. On site we will have about 300 parking spots. Then overflow parking will be about .7 miles away at the Trinty church on W Joppa Rd. We will run 2 bus shuttles during the entirety of the meet to get people to and from. Parking will be free and will be first come first serve in the parking lotadjacent to the park.
Spectating:
The cost to enter the park for spectators will be $10.
Sanctioning:
Meet will be NFHS sanctioned for Maryland Public / Private, Delaware, Pennsylvania, DC, Virgina, West Virginia.
Concessions:
This meet will have a variety of food and drinks sold out of the concessions building.
Bathrooms:
This site will feature indoor bathrooms and also porta potties outside.
Athletic trainers:
This meet will have a handful of very qualified athletic trainers from the local private schools in the area.
