CNU Men and Women Sweep Mason-Dixon Championships, Low Sets New School Record CNU Press Release Oct 23, 2004

Both Christopher Newport\'s men\'s and women\'s cross country teams were crowned Mason-Dixon Conference champions Saturday afternoon. Emily Low was named the meet\'s Most Outstanding Women\'s Runner en route to her first place finish. Her time of 21:51 set a new school record and it also set a new personal best.

The University of Mary Washington cross country teams both placed third among five teams at the Mason Dixon Invitiational in Salisbury on Saturday. The men placed third with 53 points, behind Christoipher Newport\'s 36 points and Salisbury\'s 38 points. UMW\'s Todd Kronenberg (Reston, VA/South Lakes) placed first overall, at 25:33.
