After winning the Seahawk Invitational 5K in a 15:23 5K PR, Northern-Calvert's Matt Bennett dropped another quick time in winning the 3200 at his weekday home meet in a state leading performance of 9:43 bumping his 3A state rival Darren Harman of South Hagerstown out of the MD #1 spot.

DuVal's Gerard Amobi has been the only one in Maryland so far to go sub 50 seconds in the 400 this season, but have a good feeling that number is going to increase exponentially this weekend.

After missing out on the indoor season, Severna Park senior distance runner Josh Tucker was back in action this week winning the 3200 at the Anne Arundel County All-Comers Meet with a 9:52 personal best effort. Teammate Spencer Davis was right behind him in a 9:52 PR as well.
