Boys Red and White Team Preview

Notable Teams: Gilman, C Milton Wright, Oakdale, Linganore, Mt. Hebron

Gilman comes into the Red and White race as the favorites. The Greyhounds won the Georgetown Prep Invitational 2 weeks ago and placed 6th at the Seahawk Invite earlier in the season. They are led by Ryan Collins and Jemmel Greene.

Depending on the status of Ashton Tolson, C Milton Wright could be a contender for the win. Tolson is rumored to be running and could potentially win the race. CMW won the Harford Invite last week and averaged 17:39 for 3miles without Tolson. 

Prediction: Gilman

Boys Red and White Individual Preview

C Milton Wright's Ashton Tolson is entered in the Red and White Race. Tolson has yet to race this season but was a pre-season top 10 runner. If MDXC is his season debut then he may be the favorite to win. Behind Tolson would Andrew Brown from John Carroll and Ryan Collins from Gilman, who have run 16:15 and 16:36 respectively for 5k. Eric Penkala from Southern-AA will also be in the top pack as he won the Bull Run Small race earlier this season.
