Some surprisingly good times by freshman in 4A Guys and Capone of Towson and Sinclair of Montgomery Blair almost get under 11.
With blazing temperatures expected on Saturday, competition will be smoking - literally. An unexpected small field for 4A North Boys and a very deep 2A North Girls field should be the highlights of the meet.
Woodlawn destroys the boys field while the girls championship was still up in the air with two events to go. Sam Henry and Ron Bias lead the boys varsity, but even more impressive was Woodlawns complete domination of boys and girls varsity and junior varsity races.
Thunder and lightnening couldn't stop Lauren Capone of Towson from leading her Towson teammates to wins in the 4x800 and 3200 meter runs. Great competition in the boys 4x800 and 3200 runs made for exciting viewing.
