VOTE For Maryland Girls Indoor Field Athlete Of The Year!

The state of Maryland had two All-Americans this past weekend in New York at the New Balance Nationals with Huntingtown's Harleigh White in the triple jump over 40 feet and DuVal's Madeline Akobundu in the long jump approaching 20 feet.

The season as a whole saw several athletes on top of the state leader for much of the winter in the field events including Seasons Usual of Frederick Douglass-PG in the shot put and Felicia Clements of Middletown with her 5'6" clearance in the high jump.

There were athletes versatile in several field events including La Plata's Lillian Reese finishing top 10 in the New Balance Nationals pentathlon, while Hereford's Alexandra Butz reached heights of 5'2" in the high jump and 11'0" in the pole vault.

Many deserving athletes to chose for Maryland's girls field event athlete of the year. VOTE below by Sunday at 10 PM!
