Reicin Leads Top Maryland Performers At Adidas XC Invite

Adidas XC Meet Page - Results

The Adidas XC Invite regularly draws some of the best runners from up and down the East Coast and produces some of the fastest times of the season. This year was no exception, as Churchill senior Julia Reicin led all Maryland competitors with an eighth-place finish in the girls championship race. Her new personal best of 18:48.00 places her third on Maryland's state 5K rankings.

On the boys side, B-CC junior Adam Nakasaka broke a huge milestone with a 15:53.80 effort, good for 13th in the championship race. His performance led the Barons to an 11th place finish.

In the boys invitational race, Oakland Mills senior Joey Navarro picked up his second win in as many weeks with a 16:12.80 personal best. The Oakland Mills boys finished fourth, with their Howard County rivals from Reservoir a spot ahead of them in third.
