Top Maryland Athletes To Watch At This Weekend's Virginia Showcase

Lauren Morgan (Elizabeth Seton) 55, 300, 4x200

Morgan will get her first big chance this season to go head-to-head with some of the top girls sprinters in the state. She currently sits in third on the Maryland leaderboard in the 55 dash at 7.10 and will be looking to take that first place spot all for her own this weekend. Morgan will also hope to join the already-long list of sub-40 Maryland girls in the 300 this season, after opening her season with a 40.15 at the Real Deal Classic on December 3.

Morgan will also run a leg on the Seton girls 4x200 relay which currently owns the second-fastest mark in the state at 1:42.82. They will get their first crack at the Bullis girls - who own the top Maryland time - this season on Saturday.
