2A Girls Shot Put
Frederick Douglass' Seasons Usual and Lackey's Courtney Hawkins have gone 1-2 at the past two 2A state championships, so will the third time be the charm for the Lackey junior? The girls currently hold the MD #2 and #3 spots, respectively, and come into the state meet having comfortably won their regionals. Usual has won the first two matchups of the season so far at the Ed Bowie and Southern Maryland invitationals.
