The outdoor state championships have come and gone, and while a few postseason meets remain, it's time to take a look at how the class rankings stacked up for this spring. Oakdale's Lauren Leatherman flashed talent in multiple events during the winter and solidified her status as one of the top all-around freshmen in the state this spring. She finished second at the 3A state meet in both the 400 and 800 and is the only freshman girl to have cleared 5'4 in the long jump this season. She also ranks near the top of the class rankings in both hurdle events and the triple jump.
