Girls' Meet Records In Danger At Crimson Tide Invitational

Girls 1600

Meet Record: Madeline Dulac (McDonogh) - 5:02.88, 2010

One of the older meet records has stood since 2010, when McDonogh's Madeline Dulac ran 5:02.88. The top threat to the record this year will probably be Virginia's Ava Hassebrock (Tuscarora - not the Maryland one) who comes in with a personal best 1600 time of 5:00.47. She ran a 5:11 full mile last weekend at the Raleigh Relays. From the Maryland side, Raquel Drexel (Leonardtown), Abby Sweeney (Northern) and Pamela O'Brien have all run under 5:20, and 5:02 may not be far out of the question with a 5:00 1600 runner in the race.
