Last November, South River sophomore Bronwyn Patterson powered away from the rest of the 4A girls field at the state championships, earning the first of her three individual state titles. She enters this fall as the defending 4A champion, but many of her 4A competitors from last fall also return - including some Anne Arundel County rivals - meaning this could be the premier county championship race of the 2019 cross country season.
