The following are MileSplit's returning composite rankings for 3A girls. These rankings combine cross country and track performances from the previous school year to try and accurately rate teams heading into the fall. You can create custom composite ranking leaderboards by going to "Rankings" -> "XC Team Scores" on the top banner and selecting "Composite".
The Northern girls have won three consecutive 3A state titles, but will have plenty of competition in 2019. Perennial contenders Towson, Hereford and Centennial all rank within the top five by composite ranking, and the Bel Air girls have one of the most young and talented groups of runners in the state.
