The top teams took care of business this past weekend at their county and conference championships. Severna Park, River Hill, Oakdale and Liberty all won handily at their respective meets. Meanwhile, Wright held off Fallston (again) to take the UCBAC title, and the closest race came at the SMAC Championships where North Point beat Chopticon on a tiebreaker (both are currently ranked in the "next five").
Big movers this week include Arundel, who finished just one point behind South River and six points behind Broadneck at the Anne Arundel County Championships behind individual winner Tanner Piotrowski. The Howard boys are the only new team to crack the top 25 (moving up from last week's "next five") after squeaking past Mount Hebron for third place at their county championships.
