Juniors
Two of the state's top distance runners, regardless of class (although they both happen to be juniors), battled at the Howard County Winter Festival last weekend before the holiday break. Northern's Oakley Olson and South Carroll's Grace Siehler both became the first two girls in Maryland to break 5:20 in the 1600 this season.
