Westlake's Kiara Parker had one of the most dominant senior years of the entire decade in 2015; she went undefeated through the indoor state meet in the 55 meter dash and through the outdoor state meet in the 100 meter dash. Her 6.90 converted time from the finals of the 60 meter dash at the 2015 New Balance Indoor Nationals - where she placed third - was the fastest time of the decade by a Maryland runner. She won five individual state titles at Westlake (four as a senior) and went on to compete at Arkansas; in the spring of 2019 she finished third at the NCAA DI Championships in the 100 meter dash.
