1A Boys 110 Hurdles

What race is so close that nobody actually knows who won? If you were at the 2019 state meet, you may remember the suspense that followed the airtight finish in the 1A boys 110 meter hurdle finals. Bohemia Manor's Anthony Egurola and Crisfield's Kyle Noll raced to nearly a dead heat; Noll appeared to have the advantage clearing the final hurdle, but Egurola seemed to time his lean a little better. Nobody knew for sure, though, because the scoreboard did not update at the end of the race, and the live results simply moved on to the next event. It was only later in the day that it was revealed Egurola had, indeed, won the race with his well-timed and well-positioned lean across the finish line, beating Noll by two hundredths of a second.
