2A Girls 4x100

Led by Caitlyn Bobb, the Harford Tech girls owned the relays at the 2019 2A state meet, even taking down the nine-year-old 2A meet record in the 4x200. Even without Bobb on the 4x100 relay, the Cobras found themselves a couple of strides ahead of the rest of the pack at the final exchange. However, Westlake and River Hill weren't done yet. No race can change in the blink of an eye like the 4x100 relay, and halfway through the home stretch it became clear that Westlake and River Hill were making up ground. It came down to the final lean, but Westlake freshman Raven Kennedy completed the comeback, beating out the other two teams by the slimmest of margins; just eight hundredths of a second separated all three teams at the line.
