Smith is our top returner for the 55m hurdles event for this year's indoor track season. This could be Smith's second year as Maryland's top 55m hurdler and his third year as Maryland's number one 60m hurdler.

DeVaughn is our second pick for the 55m hurdles. Last indoor season, he held the second-fastest time in the state for the event, as well as the sixth-fastest for the 60m hurdles. To add, DeVaughn is one of two returners that have gone sub-8 in the event.
