Outlook: The Mustangs bring back 11 of their top 12 girls from last years squad. They have a strong top 3 in Bassham, Swayne, and Perry who have run sub 20:40 for 5k and look to improve those times this upcoming year. CMW looks to be one of the top teams in the northern Baltimore area and will be in the mix for a 3A state championship this year as well!

Key Losses: Isabelle Senfaute, Amelia Burkhard
Outlook: The Wildcats enter the season as the defending 4A champs and will look to repeat that success this season. Losing Isabelle Senfaute and Amelia Burkhard will be a tough task to replace as both were outstanding runners last fall but the Wildcats bring back their next 6 runners, 4 of which ran faster than 20:47 for 5k last year, including Ellie Rogers who ran 19:52. WJ has more state championships than any 4A girls program in the last 15 years, there will be no doubt they will be in the mix come November.
