Watch Alexander Contreras finish second at the CMC championships

Team Preview - Northern Garrett and Catoctin were only separated by 5 points at Regionals, with Northern Garrett taking the win. These two teams look like the favorite heading into the State Championship. Alexander Contreras easily won the 1A West region and if more runners can pack in between him and Northern Garretts #1 Ethyn Peck, then that 5-point gap will close quickly. Fallston will be looking to break into the top 2 as they won the 2A East Regional, beating Snow hill by 23 points.

Individual Preview - Alexander Contreras (Catoctin) won the 1A West Regional by 39 seconds and will be one of the favorites coming into the 1A State Meet. Seth Barron (Snow Hill) won the 1A East Regional by 40 seconds and will be ready to challenge anyone for the Individual crown as well. Also in contention will be Ray Gibson (Brunswick), Noah Fisher (Francis Scott Key), Ethyn Peck (Northern Garrett), and Casey Culler (Mountain Ridge).
