The boy's race for the city championship should be a close one between Digital Harbor and Mervo. On paper, Digital Harbor has a 23-point advantage over Mervo, so it will depend a lot on which athletes run which events and relays. 

Digital Harbor is led by stand-out sprinter Alpha Balde. Balde is the top seed in the 200 and the 3rd seed in the 400m dash. Tristin Gray is the top seed in the shot-put and the 4th seed in the disc. They will also rely on Jaylin Blackwell in the jumping events and Justin DeVaughn in both hurdle races. 

Mervo is dominant in the short sprints. Shelton Todd has had a breakthrough year and is the favorite in the 100m dash as he has run 10.72 this season. Brandon Alston and Challenger Valentine are the top two seeds in the 400m dash as well. It will be interesting to see which relays they will load up as they ha...
