IAAM (Girls)

The IAAM Girls race looks to be one of the most competitive of any county or conference race this year. Only 23 points separates the top 4 schools. Spalding will come in as the favorite and looked strong in their last meet, MDXC, finishing 3rd in the merge, beating several IAAM teams in the process. Notre Dame, Bryn Mawr, and McDonogh will be chasing them and all have the talent to take home the team title.

Individually there are 7 girls who have run under 20 minutes this season for 5k. However, only one has run under 19, which is Alexandra O'Connell from Spalding who has run 18:50. She will be one of the favorites along with Massie Wassin from John Carroll, Mary Gorsky from McDonogh, and Fiona Santos from Bryn Mawr.
