We have reached meet capacity. Teams that are competing are listed in the TEAMS section. If your school would like to join the waitlist, please email Josh Carroll at jacarroll@aacps.org. Spots on the waitlist open if a team scheduled to compete chooses not to compete. Waitlist teams are accepted on a first come basis by way of email to jacarroll@aacps.org.

Meet Information:

The Course: The 2018 Seahawk Invitational will be held on the same course as last year. The 3.0 mile course is a mix between grass fields and wooded trail. There is a course map posted below.

Entry Info: To confirm registration, contact Josh Carroll (jacarroll@aacps.org) for password; then mail payment to South River High School. Meet is limited to 35 teams; once we reach capacity, we will not accept additional teams. All entries will be completed on md.milesplit.com

Entry Fee:

$200 for boys and girls

$110 for single gender schools

Schedule:

7:00am: Course open for Course Walk

8:15am: Coaches Meeting at finish line

8:45am: Varsity Girls A race (Top 7 girls)

9:25am: Varsity Boys A Race (Top 7 boys)

10:00am: Varsity B Girls (10 ATHLETE LIMIT IN THIS RACE)

10:40am: Varsity B Boys (10 ATHLETE LIMIT IN THIS RACE)

11:15am: Open Raceboys and girls; no team score; all athletes receive individual time

12:00pm: Awards Ceremony by the finish line

Awards: Top 25 runners in all Varsity races receive medals

A races receive medals at Awards Ceremony

B races receive medals in the chute

Plaque to winning individual in each A race

Trophy to winning boys' and girls' team in A races; plaques to 2nd and 3rd place teams.



We will have t-shirts on sale ($20), light concessions, and

several vendors.



Portable restrooms will be open near the start/finish line.

Additional restrooms will be open in the main stadium as well as the athletics

area of South River HS. All other areas of South River HS and the adjacent

schools will be off limits.



Team busses should drop off in front of South River HS; please

follow the paved path between the JV stadium and the school to our XC course.

Busses can park in the bus lanes at South River HS or at Central MS just beyond

the JV stadium. NO BUS should drop off or park behind South River HS.



Teams are welcome to set-up tents in the shaded areas between the

JV stadium and Central MS. Teams are also welcome to set-up in the grass fields

that are not traversed by the XC course. Teams cannot set-up by the tennis

courts. NO TEAM

TENTS/AREAS ARE ALLOWED BY THE TENNIS COURTS.



Teams will be provided with trash bags. Please dispose of trash in

the dumpsters near the XC course or take with you. Thank you.
