UPDATE: Our course has been fully repaired from the tornado damage and we are excited to host the Seahawk XC Invite on October 16th. If your team needs to add an athlete(s), please email Bobby at On Track Timing (ripken10@aol.com) by October 10th. There is no need to let us know if athletes are NOT competing. This year's Seahawk Invitational will be capped at 25 teams per gender. Once we reach that limit, we cannot accept new teams. Please see entry info below for more information.
The Course:
The 2021 Seahawk Invitational will be held on the same course that has been competed at South River HS since 2018. The 3.0 mile course is a mix between grass fields and wooded trail. A course map is posted on MileSplit and will be emailed to coaches in advance of race day.
Entry Info:
The number of teams is a hard limit; we cannot go beyond 25 boys and girls teams.
25 boys and girls teams
Varsity A Boys and Varsity A Girls races (10 athletes per gender)
Varsity B Boys and Varsity B Girls races (unlimited entries)
To secure a spot, register on MileSplit. By registering your team to compete, you are committing to the race and will need to submit payment. If we cancel/postpone the meet, you will be refunded or credited for a future meet at South River (your choice). If your team chooses not to compete, we will not be offering refunds.
Entry Fee:
$250 for boys and girls
$125 for single gender schools

Races:
7:00am: Course open for Course Walk
8:15am: Coaches Meeting at finish line
9:00am: Varsity Boys A race (Top 10 boys)
9:40am: Varsity Girls A Race (Top 10 girls)
10:20am: Varsity B Boys (unlimited)
11:00am: Varsity B Girls (unlimited)
Awards:
Awards will be placed in team envelopes which will be available after the conclusion of the Girls B race. We will not have an awards ceremony.
Top 25 runners in all Varsity races receive medals
Plaque to winning individual in each A race
Trophy to winning boys and girls team in A race; plaque to 2nd and 3rd place teams.
