#12. Ella Gaul (Walter Johnson, 2021)
Walter Johnson just graduated one of the greatest runners to come out of their program in Abbey Green. They may not have to wait long to find their next star in rising sophomore Ella Gaul. Gaul had modest success in the cross country season as a freshmen with a 5K best of 20:54, but really hit her stride during the indoor season. She finished 3rd in the 4A girls 1600 state race with a 5:12 PR and also ran 11:30 indoors in the 3200. Gaul should be blowing her 5K PR out of the water pretty early into the upcoming season.
