South River's Nikko Boogades was a 4A state runner-up this past spring in the 1600 and returns this fall as one of the top individuals contender for the Anne Arundel County cross country title. Boogades, with a 5K PR of 16:02, will see if he can help his South River squad close any distance on the Severna Park boys, who have held a long standing streak of dominance in the county.
