Boys 4x400
The East Orange boys won a thrilling 4x400 at last spring's NJSIAA Meet of Champions, and went on to clock a 3:11 season best before all was said and done. Needless to say, the 3:22 meet record doesn't look like it is going to stand for much longer. (Photo by Aaron Laserna)
Meet Record: Laurel High School - 3:22.59, 2017
Just because it's the last race of the day doesn't mean that there won't be any awesome performances. Last year the Laurel and Penn Wood boys went head-to-head in a thrilling twilight showdown, with both teams going under 3:25. Laurel's meet record of 3:22.59 may be toast, as the East Orange (NJ) boys ran 3:11 last spring and 3:16 during this past indoor season. Western Branch and Union Catholic are both also seeded at 3:20 or faster, meaning that it may take an effort faster than the meet record just to place in the top three this year.
