After ranking our top 50 teams before the season we will post updated top 25 rankings at the beginning of every week!
Most of the top ten teams went head-to-head in an epic elite girls race at Bull Run on Saturday. The Whitman girls finished just behind Broadneck, moving them up to fourth, while Bel Air edged Northern once again. Our biggest risers this week are the top two teams from the small school girls race: Liberty and Maryvale Prep. The Liberty girls are on the verge of becoming 2A state favorites after their performance on Saturday afternoon.
No teams move into the top 25 after being previously unranked as many of Saturday's races turned out about as expected. Reservoir makes an appearance on the "next five" list after winning the medium school girls race, along with River Hill, Annapolis and Great Mills.
