Into the Record Books: Top Ten All-Time @ Ed Bowie Classic

Coming off a fifth-place finish in the 800 at the 4A outdoor state meet as a junior, Nikolas Thomas made the jump into the state's elite ranks as a senior. In his first race of his indoor senior season, Thomas lowered his personal best mark in the 500 meter dash by two and a half seconds. His 1:05.88 time easily beat out the previous meet record of 1:07.25 held by fellow Prince George's County standout, DuVal's Edose Ibadin. Thomas would eventually set a personal best of 1:05.40 at the Virginia Tech Invitational later that winter.
