She was one of three competitors to run under 10, and the only girl to do so. To add, this was her second win for the day. Her teammate, Sarah Lime, finished in a time of 10.02, which was second for girls and fourth overall.

Field Events

High Jump

Dundalk's Justin Forbes finished first for the boys in the high jump event after reaching a mark of 5-02.00. Once again, Hereford's Lizzie Lopez came for the overall win. She won the event after reaching a mark of 5-04.00, which was the best mark for anyone at the meet. This was Lopez's third win at the meet. To add, this is the second-best performance in the state of Maryland and ranks fourth nationally.

Pole Vault

Hereford's Zack Kralec took the win in the pole vault event after a height of 13-00.00. Previously, Kralec was ranked second in the state for top returners in the event. It is clear he is meeting these expectations already as his performance from the meet is an MD #2 at the moment.

Dundalk's Julia Beatty was first for the girls after a height of 7-00.00. This ended up being a top 20 performance in the state.

Shot Put

Hereford's Matthew Daw threw a 32-09.50, which was the winning distance for the event. Close behind was Owings Mills' Zahiyan Bryant who threw 32-04.00.

Owings Mills' Destiney Solomon won on the girls' side after a distance of 25-03.00. Dundalk's Savannah Kelly was second after a distance of 24-01.50.

It was a very close meet on the boys' side. Dundalk took home the top honors with 99 points, while Hereford was short by 1 point. However, Hereford was able to make this up on the girls' side where they completely swept the scores. The Hereford girls scored a total of 187 points, which was 4x the points of the second-place team.
