GIRLS PREVIEW
Girls Team: Northern Calvert once again looks to be in the driver's seat for this conference championship. They placed 5th in the very competitive MDXC invitational and look to once again contend for a 3A title. They will try to put 5 in the top 10. Leonardtown is led by senior Elena Blodnikar and will try to pull off the upset if Northern falters. The race for third should be close as Chopticon, Huntingtown, and Calvert are only separated by 11 points in the virtual preview.
Girls Individual: Elena Blodnikar has had an excellent season and has run 18:41 for 5k this season. She will be the big favorite at this meet and is one of the top runners in the entire state. Chasing her will be a duo from Nothern Calvert, Avhlee Reist, and Ally Johnson.
