Boys Team: MD # 1 Calvert Hall comes into the meet as the heavy favorite. In what looked like a great season-long rivalry back in August between Calvert Hall and MD # 4 Loyola Blakefield has not turned out that way. While Loyola has had a great season and is still one of the top teams in the state, Calvert Hall is in a class of its own. They are the only team in Maryland with a 1-5 5k average under 16minutes. Look for them to put 5 in the top 10. The battle for 3rd should be fun to watch as Gilman and Mount. St. Joseph are only separated by half a point in the projected team scores. 

Boys Individual: Another rematch between Mt. St. Joseph standout Charlie Butler and Calvert Hall's Cameron Davis. The MIAA championship course is on the same course as MDXC where Butler got the best of Davis by 8 seconds. Butler leads the head-to-head series 2-1.
