Outlook: The Cardinals bring back most of their dominant team from last year. They will have big goals this season trying to qualify for NXN in December, a feat only accomplished by a few other teams in Maryland. They have the talent to do that, especially with one of the more dynamic 1-2 punches in the state with Cam Davis, who qualified to NXN individually last year, and Rei Rahsaan Nettey. Their big regular season meets will be the Great American Invite in North Carolina and the Paul Short Invite at Lehigh University.

Outlook: The Generals will be the defending 3A State Champs after winning the title last fall. While they lose standout runner Ryan Wahler, they bring back many athletes from the state championship team last year, including Kieran Mischke who should lead them at all meets this year. They will have tougher competition with a few teams moving classifications, but have the experience to meet the challenge!
