Roosevelt Girls #2 US Indoor 4x200 @ Hispanic Games

The girls from Elenore Roosevelt ran the second fastest 4x200 time in the nation this weekend. Placing second at the Hispanic Games in NYC, the girls ran a time of 1:41.25. Many other great performances were turned in by Maryland runners from Roosevelt and Friendly.

Bever-Leigh Holloway put up elite performances in three events, including her first place finish in the 55m Hurdles in a time of 8.21. Teammate Tameka Jameson took home the title in the 400 meters, going 57.84 for the fastest time in the open heats.

Other Maryland state-leading marks were put up in several events: Friendly\'s Jana Schuhman in the 800, 2:17.17; Roosevelt\'s girls 4x400 team, 3:52.29; Roosevelt\'s boys 4x400 team, 3:21.01; and Jasper Watkins (Roosevelt) in the 400 meters, 50.29.
