1. Matt Centrowitz (Broadneck) Should run away with this race.
2. Matt Llano (Broadneck) Will need to run a good race, because Moody and Cyr are right on his heels.
3. Chris Moody (South River) Needs a good race for his team to move up in the team standings.
4. Bryan Cyr (Severna Park) Having a good year.
5. Brett Alvaro (Arundel) Has really improved from last year.
6. Greg Marshall (Arundel)
7. Matt Gelety (Chesapeake)

Teams
1. Broadneck- The clear favorite!!!
2. Arundel- They have run well as a team over the last three meets.
3. South River- Their number 4&5 runners will need to run better for them to over take the Wildcats.
4. Severna Park- They have a good 1-2 punch, but need their other runners to step up and run well.
5. Northeast- Will need to run well to stay in the top five.
Girls
1. Kelsey Hill (Severna park) The clear favorite. She 3 for 3 in xc invitational's beating some of the top runners in the state.( Allison Smith, Veronica Salcido, Marissa McPhail, and teammate Liya Kasimova.)
2. Marissa McPhail (Arundel) The senior will need the race of her life to win that elusive county crown.
3. Liya Kasimova (Severna Park) Needs a strong race to boost her confidence. Very capable of beating McPhail.
4. Jennine Strange (Severna Park) Will have to run better if she wants to hold off her freshman teammates who are right on her heels.
5. Tait Woodward (Broadneck) The county champion hasn't lived up to her potential. But remember it was at the county meet where she upset McPhail and started to run well last year. (2nd at region, 2nd at state meet 4A)
6. Stephanie Miklos (South River)
7. Hannah Carr (Severna Park) Gets better every race.
8. Kathleen Barranco (Severna Park) Barranco and Carr seem to push each other every race, helping their team to get better. These two freshman are right on Strange's heels.
9. Jordan Gibbs (Severna Park) Like Hill, Jordan is a swimmer who gets better every week.
10. Amanda Jones & Shelly Wilke (Severna Park) One of these young ladies will not run in the varsity race. They are both good enough to make any other varsity xc team in the state of Maryland. "Wow," wish I had that problem.
Others to watch: Tina Tallon (CH), Mary Fromme (SR), Ali McCullough (AR), Megan Lee (CH), Miranda Heater (SR), Kayla Ohlson (OM), Alexandra Scheuker (CH).
Teams
1. Severna Park- The "clear", "clear" favorite's. Thank god they can only run seven in the varsity race.
2. Broadneck- Have not seen much of them this year, but they have the talent to hold onto second place.
