VA Indoor Week #4 Coverage MileSplit Staff Jan 6, 2007

Week 4 of indoor track in Virginia included another US #1 performance from Sean Holston in the 300 meter dash with a 33.99 clocking at the Southern Maryland Mega Meet after posting a US #1 for 500 meters only week earlier. Other top performances included a personal best clearance from Anne Marie Gordon (pictured left) in the pole vault with a winning height of 11\'9\" at VMI\'s Keydet Invitational. On the same track that Sean Holston ran a US #1 500 meter dash time of 1:03.93 at last weekend\'s F.I.T. Invitational, he did it again with another national leading time in the event he considers his specialty in the 300 meter dash. At the Southern Maryland Mega Meet held at Prince George County\'s Sports and Learning Complex, the Robert E. Lee senior put his name on the national leaderboard once again on an unbanked track with a 33.99 clocking in the event.
