MileSplit will be live streaming the WCAC Championships over the next two days, May 20th & 21st at Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland. The WCAC compromises many of the top Catholic schools in the DC Metro area with schools from Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

St. Mary's Ryken sophomore Kelisa Cain broke the WCAC Championships meet record in the 100 meter dash with a 11.96 clocking in the prelims on Friday at Good Counsel.
The Elizabeth Seton girls broke their own meet record in the 4x200 meter relay at the WCAC Championships previously held by their 2011 squad with a 1:04.03 victory to close out day 1 competition on Friday for the 2016 championship meet.
One of the bigger stories out of the first day of competition was Maxwell Willis of Archbishop Carroll (former state champion at Bowie High School in Maryland) being disqualified for a false start in the 100 prelims after he was clearly induced by a flinch from another runner in the field.
The Good Counsel boys picked up a big chunk of points in the boys 3200 with a top 3 sweep from Jack Wavering, Kevin McGivern, and Jimmy Vazzana. Seniors Wavering and McGivern in one of their final races on home track dip under 9:40.
