Boys 1000 Meter Run
The winner of this year's 1000 meter run will probably beat the time of last year's winner (2:41), especially since Saturday will mark the return of Northwood seniors Obsaa Feda and Eldad Mulugeta after their NXN performances back in December. Both are entered in the 1000 and the 1600, and will be the favorites in both. The field in the 1000 promises to be deeper than last year's, however, with many Virginia runners entered at or below 2:40.
