Over 10 teams across Virginia and Maryland were entered for the 2022 Elite Scholastic Meet. The meet was hosted by Speed Evolutions at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex in Virginia.

Westlake's Raven Kennedy was the sole Maryland representative at the meet. She raced in two events: the 55-meter dash and the 60-meter dash. For the 55m, Kennedy finished ninth overall with a season-best of 7.45, which is a current MD #8. Once again, she finished ninth but in the 60m event. She ran a season-best of 8.05, which is an MD #6.
