#2 Severna Park
2021 State Finish - 1st (4A)
2021 Region Finish - 1st (4A East)
2021 County Finish - 1st (Anne Arundel)
Key Returners: Liam Hagerty, Christopher Nunn
Key Losses: Tyler Canaday, James Glebocki, Eddie Sullivan, Tyler Engleman, Mason Siebenhaar
Outlook: It's been quite a while since Severna Park was not the # 1 ranked team in the state, however as we start this year they are not too far from it, coming in at the #2 position. The Falcons graduated a strong group of runners this past spring and will be looking at younger runners to step up and fill those shoes. With that said, no team reloads as well as Severna Park. Liam Hagerty and Chris Nunn look ready to take that role as they ran 9:31 and 9:49 respectively for 3200m last spring. It will be exciting to see them square off versus the #1 ranked team (as well as multiple other ranked teams) at the first meet of the year, the Seahawk Invitational on September 3rd.

#1 Loyola Blakefield
2021 MIAA - 1st
2021 Private School Championships - Did not attend
Key Returners: Jackson Kodenski, Carter Bruns, Sean Wilson, Andrew Rowan, Noah Edwards
Key Losses: Colin Verrett, Charlie Doud
Outlook: Our #1 preseason ranked team is Loyola Blakefield. The Dons bring back the best top 5 in the state this year as all of their returning top 5 ran under 17 minutes last season. They will be led by Jackson Kodenski (15:56) and Carter Bruns (16:02) who pack a strong 1-2 punch and will be low sticks and every meet they attend. Hopefully, we get to see great matchups between Loyola Blakefield and all of the top 10 teams this upcoming season!
