Thomas Wootton tops the Power Rankings. While States did not go their way, there is little doubt they were the best girls' team in Maryland throughout the year. If they had their full team finish at States they would have won. It's a tough way to end the year, but that doesn't take away from the fantastic season they had.
Hereford looked great at States, easily winning the 2A Championship on their home course. While it wasn't a surprise that they won, they easily won the girl's State merge and were the best team of all 4 classifications.
Towson moves up to the #5 spot after winning the 3A State Championship and upsetting the field. The Generals ran extremely well the last 3-4 weeks of the season when they needed to most.
C Milton Wright took the final spot in the list as they finished 3rd in 3A.
