Team Preview:
With their strength in field events, Urbana comes into the 4A State Championships as the favorite. They have the ability to score 30 points (or more) in the 3 field events. In addition to that, Angeline Amefia is projected 3rd in the 55m Hurdles, with a shot to take gold. They also can score points in both the 4x200 and 4x400 relays.
Chasing Urbana will be Old Mill, CH Flowers, and James Hubert Blake. Old Mill has strength in the sprints with Jasmine Cook, Isabella Shanley, and Ariana Wright. CH Flowers will lean on Nina Pitt and Jaelynn Blackwell in the hurdles and field events as well as strong relays.
